Most of you probably know Geoff from his jingles heard on Adam Curry’s Daily Source Code Podcast, GeekBrief.tv, Radio Lingua Network, Tips from The Top Floor, ScreenCasts Online and the successful iYule project.
Geoff Smith was born in December 1972 and is an independent artist based out of Nashville TN. His massively catchy power pop styles are reminiscent of the Beatles, Ben Folds and Squeeze. Geoff began composing jingles and theme songs for podcasters back in 2005 and has written hundreds and hundreds and the list keeps growing.
Themes and jingles for podcasts includes: Pod Save The Queen, Heterosexual Moment on Pacific Coast Hellway, My Marilyn, Pete and Rene’s Happy Hour, The Go Daddy Commercial for DSC, Zee and Zed’s Shopping at Target, and he is currently working with several podcasters with their themes and jingles. Please get in touch if you are interested in having jingles or themes produced.

Finally, Geoff Smith has been singing with the IMpressions, the old motown group. They have been on the top 10 on the southern soul/beach music charts for the past few years with the song “Rhythm”. In April 2008 Geoff launched a new concept providing original ringtones via rss feeds to the iPhone.
